Motion in the Ocean

Almost every day Aaron and I have this ritual. I come home and Aaron talks to the baby for a few minutes before we make dinner. Lately, we've been trying to see if Aaron could feel it move. Well...finally the little rug rat cooperated!

Yesterday, Aaron is in our office. I walk up to him and say, "Hey, I was reading that this week you might be able to hear the baby's heartbeat if you put your ear up to my stomach." So, he does. I ask, "Can you hear anything?" He says, "I can hear the liquids in your stomach." I'm like, "I didn't drink any liquids." He keeps listening. All of a sudden, right at his ear, I feel a thump. I ask, "Did you feel that?" He says, "Yeah." He looks at me with this sly look and tries to feel it again. But......the baby moved!!!! All the other motion was further down and Aaron couldn't get there fast enough!!!

One time was good for us. The baby is strong enough to get through to Daddy!!!! Yippee!
