Baby is doing very well. He is getting bigger and more aware of his surroundings. On October 26th (11 weeks old), I was showing Daddy how he did not like tummy time. I put him on his stomach. He starts to fuss after awhile. Daddy gets on the floor and said his name. And....he flips over. He either was ticked off that we refused to get him up or he was showing off. Nevertheless, he surprised us both.
The Buddha belly (thank E for the nickname) is trying to sit up by himself. We are notorious for propping our kids up on the couch at an early age. It builds head and neck strength. Somehow I caught a cold and was super lazy this morning, I propped him up on my leg and he can hold his torso, head, and neck up for an extended period of time. Now, I'm not going to put him on a backless anything. He WILL still fall over. But for a barely 3 month old, I'm pretty happy with his progress.
Once I finally got up (Buddha needed to eat), we sat in the kitchen. I purchased this high chair this week because this kid loves to talk. Do not put him in the other room. He will be upset. While I drank my tea, he kept me company. We chatted it up for awhile and had a little photo shoot.
